Hispasat - Axess - WTA ranking teleport top 20 (Foto Axess)

The World Teleport Association (WTA, World Teleport Association) has published its annual rankings in which it highlights the best teleport operators of 2023, a list in which they occupy prominent positions Hispasat y AXESS Networks.

The WTA build these lists taking into consideration variables such as benefits and growth taking into account the public data of the companies themselves. Robert Bell, executive director of the association, makes a first reading of the data that the year 2023 has produced: "All the companies on our annual lists experienced a rebound in year-on-year growth as the pandemic finally released its grip on the global economy. The invisible infrastructure provided by satellite-centric communications continues to attract investment, technological innovation and new business models."

In it top 20 from the WTA, the most relevant ranking of the association, Hispasat occupies ninth place, repeating the position of the previous year. AXESS Networks, a company acquired by Hispasat itself a year ago, drops one position in the ranking to occupy 13th place. This is the complete ranking for this year:

  13. AXESS Networks (Spain)
  14. Media Broadcast Satellite (Germany)
  15. Telstra (Australia)

  17. Planetcast Media Services Ltd. (India)
  18. US Electrodynamics Inc. (USA)
  19. e& (Etisalat) (United Arab Emirates)
  20. STN (Slovenia)

The WTA accompanies this classification with two additional top ten: “The Independent", which only includes independent operators, and "The Fast 10”, a ranking with the highest growth compared to the most recent fiscal years.

Spanish companies occupy a prominent position in both classifications: in “The Independent”, AXESS occupies fourth position, only surpassed by Archive (United Kingdom), Speedcast (USA) and Globecast (France), while in “The Fast 10”, Hispasat occupies fourth place and AXESS, the fifth. Spanish firms are surpassed in this second classification by SupremeSat (Sri Lanka), Media Broadcast Satellite (Germany) y US Electrodynamics (USA)
