Benidorm Fest 2024, leader of the night, improving the data from last year's final
The musical gala of RTVE, Benidorm Fest 2024, chose Nebulossa as representatives of Spain for Eurovision 2024 in a competition not without complications, but which managed to capture the attention of 1,977,000 viewers, achieving a 16.6% screen share.
The final gala of Benidorm Fest managed to reach the figure of almost 5.2 million people connected at some point. He was the leader of the night, almost 7 points of the second option, and improved by 1.9 points on last year's final, allowing La 1 to be the most watched channel on Saturday with an 11.3% share. The most viewed minute was at 11:54 p.m., with 2,357,000 viewers and 22.5% share. By age, it reaches 31% in the 13 to 24 year old group (last year it was 18%), and 24.9% in the 25 to 44 year old group. By region, the monitoring in Valencia stands out, with 27.4%; Castilla y León, 23.9% and Madrid, with 23.1%, the region with the highest growth compared to last year, with 6.1 points more.
The final of the Benidorm Fest 2024 was followed live on RTVE Play by 109,624 visitors unique, adding 10,000 spectators (+10%) compared to last year. During this week and until Sunday morning, 722,600 visitors only total have consulted content or followed any live Benidorm Fest on RTVE.es. Likewise, on social networks, the official hashtag #BenidormFestFinal has been trending topic global and number one in Spain with more than 115,000 tweets issued.
A personalized 360º realization
RTVE broadcast for the first time the grand final of Benidorm Fest 2024 with 360 degree immersive video. The user was able to experiment from their computer, mobile phone or tablet that is in the Palau l'Illa de Benidorm as another spectator and decide where he wanted to direct the focus at each moment of the show thanks to the 360 camera.
