Audient presents Oria, all-in-one audio interface and monitor control
Designed specifically for multi-speaker systems (from stereo setups up to 9.1.6), Oria's They will listen It comes to unify audio interface and monitor control.
Disease has been created with the objective of continuing to progress in the immersive audio environments providing a DSP which allows a precise calibration and control integrated of both the room and the speakers, allowing you to have a monitor system “highest professional level” that can be integrated with Sonarworks and Dolby. The Audient system provides 16 outputs via TRS or AES, two dedicated switched stereo outputs, two independent headphone outputs, BNC Word Clock input and output, as well as two microphone preamplifiers, identical to those built into the Audient console, 16 ADAT inputs and one optional Dante AoIP card with 16 inputs, which could be very useful in large studios and educational facilities.
Designed with a dual purpose, Oria is not just a powerful interface USB-C audio with 16 outputs, but can also be integrated into the setup of an existing studio, as a standalone monitor controller, via its ADAT inputs or the optional Dante card. Oria's advanced speaker processing allows users to create up to 32 custom built-in calibration profiles (presets) using 8-band EQ, speaker delay, adjustment and bass management tools per channel, ensuring that the listening room always remains perfectly calibrated for different formats, such as stereo, 5.1 or immersive.
Audient's Oria grows with agreements with Sonarworks and Dolby
They will listen has also reached a collaboration agreement with Sonarworks to allow users to upload SoundID reference profiles directly to Oria hardware, giving them the ability to measure and calibrate their listening room in less than an hour. In fact, Oria ships with a reference microphone for Sonarworks measurements and a free 60-day trial of SoundID Reference software for multichannel. Audient has also reached agreements with Dolby, thanks to which Oria officially integrates with Dolby Renderer, allowing the user to take control of the Down Mix functionality of the renderer directly from the Oria user interface. This allows you to quickly switch between different monitor mix formats, such as 7.1, 5.1, stereo, and others, without having to jump between your project and the renderer.
Designed for professional multi-channel setups, Oria offers many options for E/S. Surround speakers can be connected using the line or AES outputs; Dedicated stereo outputs have been created for connecting non-immersive integrated speakers and two ADAT inputs give the user the option of adding an external interface or preamplifier. It is expected that Disease begins to distribute in the first quarter of 2024 and the iPad Control app will also be available later in the quarter.
