NAB 2024: focus on AI in the broadcast universe with more than 120 conferences
Artificial Intelligence (AI) will play an important role in conferences NAB 2024, appointments in which tools, efficiency, misinformation or cybersecurity will be delved into, among many other topics.
The main stage of NAB will host a big conference called AI in Media and Entertainment which will bring together panelists such as Renard Jenkins, president of SMPTE; Hao Li, CEO and co-founder of Pinscreen; Alejandro Matamala Ortiz, co-founder and CDO of Runway, and Sam Matheny, CTO of the National Association of Broadcasters. In this discussion, speakers will share their views on AI, including the pros and cons of its continued and increasing use in productions and development.
There is much more, as in total, NAB Show 2024 will offer more than 120 focused sessions in AI: AI in newsrooms; AI tools for creators; AI in reality television and documentaries; AI in entertainment formats; AI and machine learning; Generative AI for content production; convergence of AI and cybersecurity; AI for transcription, translation and revoicing; AI for content programmers, or AI applied to sales, marketing and operations. There will also be space for curious encounters such as the one starring America, an AI-powered autonomous humanoid robot that will join Daniel Anstandig, CEO of Futuri, to offer an “unprecedented” study on audience perspectives on the use of artificial intelligence in the media.
In addition, NAB Show y Future Media Concepts (FMC) have joined forces to launch a workshop series with which attendees will be able to receive training and certifications on AI to stay up to date with this constantly evolving technology.
