The new Cinebot Max will complement MRMC's popular Cinebot Mini

Mark Roberts Motion Control (MRMC) has developed Cinebot Max, the latest addition to its Cinebot range of camera robots that will be on view at NAB 2024 in the central concourse L2.

Cinebot Max expands the capabilities of the Cinebot Mini with increased payload, reach and range of motion. It has a maximum camera weight capacity of 20 kilos, a chamber height of 3.2 meters and a 1.75 meter range. The compact unit can be quickly assembled and disassembled. The compact unit can be quickly assembled and is battery operated, making it easy to carry and portable. This light and compact solution is ideal for recording in tight, hard-to-reach places.

Like all solutions from the Nikon subsidiary, Cinebot Max has been designed with simplicity, offering filmmakers and content creators a precise and fluid control of camera movements and fluid tracking of shots. The Cinebot Max uses the same track as the Cinebot Mini, so it can be added as an additional robot for Cinebot Mini users who wish to add more range of motion.

Cinebot Max also incorporates the Push Mucus control, an interface that allows operators to manually keyframe camera movements in a motion control setup.

This function Simplifies creating motion controls customized and allows repeating pre-programmed camera movements for complex sequences. Along with push control mucus is directed via MRMC's Flair software or the MRMC tracker app.

Both the Cinebot Max and the Cinebot Mini can integrate with visual effects systems (VFX) and computer-generated imagery (CGI), allowing seamless integration of live-action sequences with digital effects. It also allows for greater creative freedom, allowing operators to explore new techniques.
