Juan Antonio Bayona will be part of the jury of the 77th edition of the Cannes Film Festival
The Spanish director and screenwriter Juan Antonio Bayona will be part of the Jury, chaired by Greta Gerwig, of the 77th edition of the Cannes Film Festival that will take place from May 14 to 25.
Along with Bayona, the Turkish screenwriter and photographer will make up the jury. Ebru Ceylan, American actress Lily Gladstone, the French actress Eva Green and the Lebanese director and screenwriter Nadine Labaki, as well as the Italian actor Pierfrancisco Favino, the Japanese director Kore-eda Hirokazu and the French actor and producer Omar Sy.
The Jury will have the honor of awarding the Palme d'Or to one of the 22 films in Competition, after Anatomy of a fall, by Justine Triet, presented by the Ruben Östlund Jury, in 2023. The winners will be announced on Saturday May 25 at the closing ceremony, broadcast live on France Télévisions in France and on Brut. on an international scale.
