MMTV India turns to virtual production with Brainstorm

InfinitySet and Aston Brainstorm will help the broadcaster MMTV India to consolidate its role as an information reference thanks to the use of virtual production and advanced graphics.

MMTV It began operating in 2006 and has since garnered numerous prestigious awards that underscore its commitment to journalistic integrity and innovative storytelling. Now, with the aim of continuing to maintain its relevance in the complex Indian audiovisual framework, the company has decided to equip its studios with Kochi with Brainstorm to continue improving your virtual production operations.

Brainstorm integration is based on three workstations InfinitySet con Unreal Engine, las which act as a rendering device for a tracking studio camera. The facility is completed with a design room with two other workstations InfinitySet, aimed at managing all VR production, and two licenses Aston, 2D/3D motion graphics, CG and playout creation solution, to create augmented reality templates.

Any of the graphics created in Aston can connect to a database and receive updated data to facilitate the Indian broadcaster's real-time production. All of this is controlled by OnDemand, a flexible solution that allows playout and immediate broadcast of all Aston templates, players and InfinitySet renders. The Brainstorm installation included the training on site of the entire MMTV staff, who received exhaustive training in just over two weeks.
