TVMonaco completes its race against time with Riedel intercoms
Artist, SmartPanels or Bolero are some of the names of Riedel that shape the intercom system of TVMonaco, public television of the Principality of Monaco that began broadcasting less than a year ago.
Officially launched on September 1, 2023 by the Prince Albert II of Monaco, and new addition to the network TV5 World, TVMonaco is dedicated to offering content focused on the environment, news, sports and the “art of living” on the Grande Riviera. Sylvain Bottari, CTO of television, recognizes that its launch was not without challenges. Among them, a “short period of time” for its launch, which required that all equipment “work perfectly from day one.” In the case of intercommunication, television opted from the first moment to Riedel: “Riedel's next-generation solutions not only meet our immediate communications needs, but also give us confidence in our ability to launch a new broadcast station on schedule and bring our programming to the air successfully.”
Specifically, the systems Artist-1024, SmartPanel y Bolero They form an integral part of TVMonaco's operations, supporting the editorial and technical teams by facilitating communication between the control room, MCR, seven editing rooms and the maintenance booth. These solutions have proven to be especially useful for TVMonaco's sports magazine and TV news segments. On the other hand, the system's compatibility with various audio formats, including Dante, Madi and AES67, as well as its compatibility with SMPTE ST 2110, provides TVMonaco with a future-proof solution.
