'Of movie': 25 years bringing cinema to RNE listeners

The specialized film program 'De Movie' on Radio Nacional de España (RNE), directed and presented by Yolanda Flores, will organize a great party at the Reina Sofía Museum in Madrid on July 26 to celebrate its 25 years of life.

Movie fulfilled 25 years the past September 12, right at the beginning of the season. Months later, on the verge of the start of the next course, Yolanda Flores and his team will celebrate this notorious anniversary accompanied by prominent representatives of cinema, administrations, production companies, platforms and other sectors of the audiovisual and cultural industry. Names like Joseph Sacristán, Marisa Paredes, Antonio Resines, Mariano Barroso or Ángeles González-Sinde will attend and participate in this celebration, as well as the directors of some of the most important film festivals in the country: Juan Antonio Vigar, of the Malaga Festival; Jose Luis Cienfuegos, from the Valladolid International Film Week, Seminci, y José Luis Rebordinos, of the San Sebastian Festival.

The 25th anniversary of from movie will also be sprinkled with live performances very special: Manuela Vellés will perform the main song of the film The bus of life; Riki Rivera will sing one of the songs of The Child, and Valeria Castro will give away her interpretation of the song for the first time The 47, a film that will hit theaters in September. There will also be a performance by the RTVE Orchestra and Choir, with the singer Estefanía García Nieto and the pianist José Ángel Silva.
