Axión and Málaga TechPark, recognized at the Ingenio 2024 Awards
The Ingenio 2024 Awards, awards given by the COITTA and AAGIT within the framework of the Telecos Andalucía 2024 Forum, they have decided to recognize the innovation and social impact of Axion y Malaga TechPark, among other initiatives.
The Ingenio, awards created to promote and make visible talent in the Andalusian technological field, recognize professionals, companies and institutions that contribute significantly to the advancement of telecommunications and the digitalization process in Andalusia. In this edition they have been recognized Málaga TechPark, Axión, the “Hedy Lamarr Chair” of the UMA, the social enterprise ONE, Sohrlin Andalusia, and the engineer Isidoro Berral Montero, for his valuable contribution to the fields of engineering and ICT.
The award for Best Public Initiative 2024 has been delivered to Malaga TechPark for his “outstanding contribution” to the economic and technological development of the city of Malaga, promoting its evolution as an international center of innovation, while the award for Best Communication and Technological Dissemination 2024 has been awarded to the Hedy Lamarr “Women and Technology” Chair at the University of Malaga, an initiative aimed at promoting the participation of women in the technological field and increasing their presence in careers related to engineering and emerging technologies.
Axion has achieved Ingenio 2024 at Best Business Initiative 2024. For the organization of the event, since its creation in 1999, "it has proven to be a benchmark in the management of telecommunications infrastructure in Spain, consolidating itself as one of the most important national wholesale operators." On the other hand, the Best Social Initiative he has taken her ONE, a leading Andalusian social company in the employability of people with disabilities that has been awarded for its differential business line of outsourcing of comprehensive supply chain processes with technical added value.
The record is completed with Ingenuity Smart City, which has recognized the commitment to the modernization of the Granada City Council; he Ingenio “Boost the audiovisual sector", a recognition of the work that Sohrlin Andalusia plays for the development of local talent, and the award to Senior Wit raised by Isidoro Berral Montero, technical telecommunications engineer, professor of Technology and Electronic Systems, and Professor of Electronic Systems since 2003. “The relevance of his work extends beyond the borders of Spain, being a reference in the Spanish-speaking world for those interested in the installation, maintenance and optimization of computer and telecommunications systems,” highlights the organization of the Ingenio 2024 Awards.
