Portuguese broadcasters debate the future of broadcast technology at BMS Talks

Data Average and Vantec, in collaboration with Provys, were some of the protagonists of the BMS Talks forum, an event held at the ISCTE – University Institute of Lisbon that revolved around the new demands of broadcast production environments.

The event was attended by representatives of the main broadcasters of Portugal, who, together with professionals from these companies, addressed the current challenges and trends that impact the sector broadcast. In this context, the importance of adapting the BMS a entornos cada vez más dinámicos, poniendo en evidencia el valor de la innovación tecnológica y la necesidad de ofrecer soluciones de integración altamente personalizadas para los mercados ibéricos.

También se trataron otros temas cruciales para el futuro de la industria, tales como las dificultades que los broadcasters enfrentan en la actualidad y las estrategias para superarlas, o la evolución de los sistemas BMS y las plataformas digitales, destacando las innovaciones más relevantes. Adicionalmente, se llevó a cabo un análisis sobre el papel de las nuevas herramientas y la artificial intelligence en la optimización de procesos y la maximización de resultados.

BMS Talks has been defined by attendees as an “excellent meeting platform” in which opinions, concerns and solutions have been shared, generating “enriching and inspiring” dialogues that fostered collaboration and innovation in the field of broadcast.
