Without blinking - Investment 15 million - production company

The society MC Consultants and Associates and the Catalan producer Without blinking They have signed an agreement this week that will allow them to face the projects of their next three years with guarantees, with an estimated investment of 15,000,000 euros for this period.

The agreement materializes in the incorporation of the economist Javier Moreno Lastra as chief financial officer (CFO) and lawyer Gumer Claramunt as legal and tax advisor. Both will be in charge of the financial and legal areas, respectively, in Sin Blinking, assuming the responsibilities of financial planning, channeling private investors from the different collaborating companies and searching for financing, in addition to cost control and legal and tax advice.

The alliance, which decisively reinforces the economic section of this production company, is the result of the experienced growth by the company Without blinking for the past year 2024. This balance is also reflected in a fundraising of 2,000,000 euros in private investment and the production of three projects: the documentary feature films between tides by Oriol Cardús and Sal & Dean by Rosa García and Miguel Hualde, and the fiction short film Good enough by Anna Carbonell.

In this way, Without Blinking consolidates its business model based on 100% project financing with private investment, through financing contracts and economic interest groups (AIE). Thus, we are committed to a structure that manages to maximize investment and that allows the producer to undertake a production that can compete in the audiovisual market.

The director Oriol Cardús and the producer Jordi Carbonell They founded Without Blinking in 2018, a production company that combines the creativity of Cardús to build stories and the innovation of Carbonell to bring those stories to the screen. Both are committed to supporting genre productions with a personal vision and giving a voice to emerging talent. His goal, in his own words, is to "seat as many viewers as possible in front of a screen and have them laugh, cry, suffer and be scared. In short, get them excited."
