Likewise, he has also been secretary of the technical group of the High Definition TV Forum and secretary of the content working group of the Digital TV Technical Forum, both groups also dependent on the State Secretariat for Telecommunications.

In the field of normalization, between 2000 and 2008, he served as secretary of the technical standardization committee 71 of AENOR (current UNE) “Information Technologies”, national mirror of the international technical committee ISO/IEC JTC1 “Information Technology”, as well as a member of the technical standardization committee 133 “Telecommunications” in charge of the aspects of telecommunications developed at the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI). Currently, he is also a member of the WorldDAB Steering Board since 2023, an organization that promotes the adoption of digital radio in the world.
