Francisco Javier Sánchez Pajares, new director of RTVE in Extremadura

He began his career in 1989 at the RTVE Territorial Center in Extremadura, where he has held different responsibilities, the last one as Head of the Media Unit.

The RNE Directorate and the TVE Information Services Directorate, at the request of the RTVE Territorial Centers Directorate, have appointed Francisco Javier Sánchez Pajares as the new head of the RTVE Directorate in Extremadura.

This professional has developed his entire professional career in RTVE. He began his career in 1989 at the RTVE Territorial Center in Extremadura, where he has held different responsibilities, the last one as Head of the Media Unit.

He has also been in charge of various pilot projects regarding the innovation of equipment and technologies related to digital production. He has also participated in numerous RTVE events, national and international, such as the Olympic Games in Sydney, London and Rio de Janeiro, the World Athletics Championships in Seville, the Royal Wedding of Don Felipe and Doña Letizia and several Ibero-American Summits.
