Audinate and the Beijing Film Academy close an agreement to train professionals in Dante

Certified training Dante will become part of the curriculum of the school of sound of the Beijing Film Academy thanks to the recent signing of a memorandum of understanding between the academic institution and Audinate.

Both organizations have established a Dante certified training center on the campus of the BFA to expand training in systems and IP-based audio and video applications. In this space, the Chinese film industry will offer different courses on Dante AVoIP technology y cloud-based applications for expand students' knowledge and prepare them for future career opportunities.

The Beijing Film Academy is the Asia's largest film academy and China's leading film production educational academy. Founded in 1950, the BFA has developed a multilevel and multidisciplinary study model covering the entire spectrum of film production. These disciplines include production, creation and research, which are used to train future film talents.

More than 50 teachers and students gathered at the opening of the School of Sound's Comprehensive Media Lab to discuss the next generation of film production technology. The party secretary and vice dean of the BFA sound school, Zheng Jiaqing, attended the certification ceremony, although it was Professor Yang Jie who demonstrated how Dante "simplifies and improves the efficiency of the production process": "Dante is already used in our courses and daily production systems, and is also widely used in our industry. It makes signal transmission in different studios and recording and production much easier. Learning the Dante networking system will help our students expand their knowledge and focus more on their creative ideas and production content."

Fifteen trainers certificates in Dante from all over China attended the announcement and gathered for a “train the trainers” event at the new center. For two days, these professionals debated the creating a coherent curriculum and ways to improve training to make it more impactful for students. In this sense, Audinate plans to continue expanding its training on Dante to more chinese study centers.
