BBC Player: countdown to its arrival in Spain with Movistar Plus+

The alliance between Movistar Plus+ y BBC Studios expands with the launch of BBC Player and two new linear channels.

At the end of 2025, Movistar Plus+ will incorporate BBC Player for the first time in Spain. This service will have more than 1,000 hours of curated content (documentaries, series or programs) from the catalog of BBC Studios, and will be available to all Movistar Plus+ customers. The confirmation of the arrival of this service in Spain comes accompanied by the announcement of the launch of two new linear channels que se sumarán a los ya estrenados el pasado mes de enero.

La alianza de Movistar Plus+ con BBC Studios comenzó hace ten years. Desde entonces, la plataforma de Telefónica ha estrenado en exclusiva sus títulos más impactantes, entretenidos o inspiradores: desde los grandes documentales de naturaleza y ciencia bajo el sello BBC Earth como Planeta Tierra III o Mamíferos, hasta reconocidas series como Time (T2) o Blue Lights. La alianza continuará en el futuro más cercano con una amplia variedad de estrenos, entre los que figuran documentales ampliamente esperados como Caminando con dinosaurios II, Human, Kingdom, Felinos T2 o Planeta Azul III.
