Vubiquity updates its MetaVU platform to improve content monetization

The latest MetaVU improvements (Vubiquity) simplify content preparation processes to give production companies and media greater profitability by eliminating redundant manual tasks.

MetaVU provides a solution centralized, cloud-based metadata management that simplifies workflows around metadata of titles, rights and availabilities for global distribution. Within the platform, the AssetVU feature set stands out, which extends the capabilities of MetaVU by integrating asset management functions.

Among the latest improvements to both systems, advanced functions such as proxy display secure with DRM encryption; asset ingestion and metadata management rationalized to improve operational efficiency, and compatibility with management of artwork along with other assets in a unified system. These developments, together with deeper integrations with third-party databases such as EIDR (Entertainment Identifier Registry), translate into a “faster and more efficient” path.
