Brompton - VP - FINAS Studies

The Malaysian National Film Development Corporation (FINAS) has made the decision to launch ICVFX, a virtual production studio equipped with Tessera LED video processors from Brompton Technology.

Founded in 1998, the studios FINES have long been a cornerstone of the Malaysian film industry. The complex has three studios for use by film industry professionals: a main space of 790 m2 and two smaller studios of 97 m². In response to industry evolution, FINAS has moved from its traditional green screen setup to a fully integrated virtual production (VP).

Brompton - VP - FINAS StudiesThe VP study consists of a pared LED curved, side panels and roof displays, powered by three 4K LED video processors SX40 card. The software Remote card is responsible for providing smooth operation, while the LED panels Infiled p2.5, p3.91 and p5.9, calibrated using the advanced measurement system Brompton Hydra, offer images ready for HDR workflows.

Idris Bin Torman, director of audiovisual technology FINES, states that Brompton's Tessera LED processors deliver “exceptional image quality, reliability and real-time performance.” “Its advanced features, such as HDR support and pixel-perfect control, ensure that we can meet the demanding needs of our projects with confidence,” he adds.
