A wide selection of PTZ cameras and miniature solutions from Marshall Electronics allow The Avit Group capture images from angles previously inaccessible in all types of broadcast productions.

The Avit Group has trusted Marshall Electronics since its inception for its audiovisual needs, using the brand's compact miniature and PTZ cameras for various projects. Just as you remember Stephen Noble, the company's sales and marketing executive, “we first heard about Marshall cameras, long before we founded the company, as a well-known and trusted camera brand.”

One of the most recent projects The Avit Group has worked on has been in Fortress Sydney, an infrastructure dedicated to eSports in which the company used Marshall Electronics CV506 mini cameras as POV cameras and CV605 PTZ cameras for wide shots. Adrian Davis, Director of Sales and Client Solutions at The Avit Group, elaborates: "We were tasked with creating a dynamic, immersive and technologically advanced audiovisual system, halfway between an entertainment venue and a television studio. The idea was to set a new benchmark for eSports venues, not only in Australia, but around the world. We were able to achieve this vision with the help of Marshall cameras."

Another assignment for which The Avit Group turned to Marshall was to help the Super Car driver Cameron Crick, who needed to capture live footage from inside the vehicle while racing. “Using the Marshall CV226 Lipstick camera allowed data to be tracked and analyzed to ensure every second counted and every move was calculated to ensure victory,” says Noble. Marshall's cameras were also used as medical cameras in Chris O’Brien Life House, which offers live operating procedures and training broadcasts for doctors: We specified the CV226 All-Weather HD Lipstick cameras for this project because their compact design allowed us to get close without impeding the operator's view. Additionally, the low latency of the cameras is ideal for broadcast,” explains Davis.

Avit Group has also supplied cameras to rental companies such as StartWebcast, which they rent to event producers, including the well-known Endframe"Jack Crombie of Endframe needed a set of discreet cameras for a 4x4 demonstration showcasing real-world 4-wheel vehicle testing performance. Mount Maxxis is a 1,000 cubic meter mountain, built to resemble some of the most difficult terrain in Australia, and features driving demonstrations that teach the skills and techniques needed to operate a 4x4 off-road vehicle," explains Davis. "The cameras were small and compact enough not to hinder the operation of the vehicles. In addition, they are robust and versatile enough to withstand hard driving. The shots captured were a rearview mirror, the top center view of the gear lever and gears, and above the pedals to show the movement of the feet," adds Crombie.
