Studio Technologies Dante solutions come to Harvard

This change has been aided by the implementation of Dante-compatible audio equipment from Studio Technologies, including announcer consoles model 204 and model 205. These devices allow commentators to connect from anywhere on campus, using the university's robust unified network infrastructure. Halevi says: "In the past, preparing for a swimming competition or any other event required transporting large amounts of equipment to the venue. Now, with Dante commentary stations from Studio Technologies, you just plug them in and everything integrates effortlessly. Whether it's fencing, volleyball or soccer, the system is flexible and reliable."

A key improvement in the Harvard setup has been the introduction of the model 5205 from Studio Technologies, which provides digital Dante conversion for microphones. This eliminates previous challenges associated with capturing ambient audio, as well as allowing remote gain adjustments through Studio Technologies' STcontroller software: "We used to have to send someone to manually adjust the mixers on site. Now we can do it remotely, saving time and effort." Harvard has also improved its communication capabilities with beltpacks and Studio Technologies intercom solutions, enabling seamless communication between directors, camera operators and commentators. Adoption of the model 5422A both for intercom support and for serving as a leading clock Dante has solved previous network stability issues, agilizando aún más las operaciones.
