The new director of fiction and alliances of Movistar Plus+, Jorge Pezzi, accompanied by a representation of the platform's creative talent, presents three new titles in Madrid promoted by big names in Spanish cinematography and fiction.

Jorge Pezzi has been accompanied by Guillermo Farré, director of the Original Cinema and Spanish Cinema area of ​​Movistar Plus+, Susana Herreras, editorial manager of original series at Movistar Plus+, and Jorge Ortiz de Landázuri, leader of Movistar Plus+ Non-Fiction Originals. The team has broken down the content strategy of the platform and advanced first images of highly anticipated titles.

kill a bear: an atypical police story

Eduard Fernández, María Rodríguez Soto, Miki Esparbé, Pol López, Nora Navas y Álex Monner star kill a bear, a project created and directed by Jorge and Alberto Sánchez Cabezudo (In the Zone, See you in another life, Crematorium) that will begin filming in the month of August. This 6-episode fiction is written by the creators and screenwriters themselves. Pablo and Daniel Remón (winners of a Goya for Best Adapted Screenplay for Bad weather). This is the synopsis of the format created by Movistar Plus+ in collaboration with Kubik Films, which has been defined by its creators as an "attractive and atypical police story": "The death of the Cachou bear in the Aran Valley triggers a never-before-seen criminal investigation into the death of an animal. The suspects are the inhabitants of the Valley, which becomes the scene where two worlds collide, the global and the ancestral, and where some good people do the impossible to keep the mountain from catching fire."

This is the synopsis of the series: "Ten pimps are going to change the prostitution business in Spain forever. They have begun to buy and exploit foreign women and are becoming millionaires. The country remains indifferent while the women continue to arrive and collide with a reality very different from what they had been promised. A reviled police unit is the only one that realizes that something is changing, but they will have to transform their way of looking at the problem.

Alauda Ruiz de Azúa reissues his collaboration with Movistar Plus+

After the success of its first series To want, recognized with 3 Forqué awards, 3 Feroz awards, 2 awards from the Union of Actors and Actresses or the Grand Prix of the international Series Mania competition (Lille – France), among other recognitions, Alauda Ruiz de Azúa is preparing his second series for the platform, which he will co-write with Eduard Sola. The new series, still without a definitive title, is a Original Movistar Plus+ in collaboration with Kowalski Films y Feelgood Media.
