Pokeepsie produces 'Marfil' and 'Ebano' for Prime Video, a duo of original films

New York has hosted the end of filming of 'Marfil' and 'Ebano', original films by Prime Video based on the dilogy 'Enfrentados' by Mercedes Ron whose production has been carried out by Pokeepsie Movies.

Ivory y Ebony represent the third stage of collaboration between Prime Video and the successful author Mercedes Ron, after the adaptations of her popular trilogy Guilty y Tell me softly. Our fault will be released in October of this year and Tell me softly coming soon in Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories as part of the Prime subscription. Both tapes are produced by Pokeepsie Movies (Banijay Iberia) (Venicephrenia, 30 coins, The bar) with Álex de la Iglesia and Carolina Bang as producers, Óscar Pedraza (Homeland, Living without permission) as director, and Sofía Cuenca (Your fault, Our fault) as a screenwriter.

Las movies They star Ester Expósito (Venus) and Hugo Diego García (The substance), who play the roles of Ivory y Sebastián respectively. Completing the cast are Eric Masip (through my window) like Iván, Pablo Molinero (A private matter) as Alejandro, Zoe Bonafonte (The 47) as Gabriela, Lluís Homar (The broken hugs) as Logan and Joaquín Ferreira (Ravens Club) like Ray.

In Ivory y Ebony, Marfil Cortés, the daughter of a powerful Spanish businessman, sees her perfect life in New York turn upside down when she is suddenly kidnapped and released without apparent explanation. "Her father then decides to hire the enigmatic Sebastián Moore as his bodyguard. Forced to spend every minute together and although they initially clash due to her indomitable spirit and his reserved character, an irremediable attraction will arise between them. Upon returning to Spain, with the threats intensifying, they must move in a world where no one is who they say they are and nothing is what it seems," reads the synopsis of the film, shot between Madrid and New York, and still no release date.
