The Complutense University of Madrid once again trusts AEQ for its radio equipment

The Complutense University of Madrid (UCM) has once again placed its trust in AEQ to update their radio studies located in the Faculty of Information Sciences.

More than a decade ago, the UCM already trusted AEQ to equip its radio studios with the Bravo model analog audio consoles, along with studio accessories such as headphone regulators and specific wiring, thus allowing it to provide its spaces with self-control and a booth for the practical training of its students.

Recently, AEQ has supplied and installed professional radio equipment in four rooms internship with the aim of offering students a fully immersive training experience aligned with the current technological standards of the radio sector.

Each of the four rooms has been equipped with a AEQ Capitol IP mixing console in its desktop version with 8 faders. This model is characterized by its IP connectivity via Dante protocol, which facilitates integration into AoIP (Audio over IP) environments, guaranteeing flexibility and reliability in daily operation.

To manage the microphones in the booths, they have been installed converters AEQ Netbox 4MH, which allow the input and output of up to 4 microphones per room through AoIP. This solution provides high audio quality and easy integration with the rest of the system. In addition, they have incorporated AEQ HB-02 units as headphone regulators in tabletop format, ensuring that each speaker has individual control of listening volume, which is essential both in training environments and in real broadcast situations.

AEQ has been developing technological solutions for radio, television and multimedia for more than 40 years. Its catalog includes audio consoles, intercom systems, audio over IP solutions, and other equipment designed for demanding production environments. Currently, its AoIP audio solutions are present in the main media and international events.
