Harmonic introduces a series of innovations in its proposal for live sports broadcasting that improve fan participation, protect sports content against piracy and maximize monetization for service providers and sports broadcasters.

Composed of VOS 360 Media SaaS and VOS360 Ad SaaS, Harmonic's cloud-native streaming solution, which can be seen at IBC 2025, transforms the sports viewing experience with advanced features like geographically synchronized low latency, interactive multivision, AI-powered real-time highlight creation, solid measures of protection against piracy y streaming advertising.

Low latency

Harmonic's live sports streaming solution enables service providers and sports broadcasters to deliver low-latency streams, while maintaining georedundant architecture with seamless failover. By overcoming major technical barriers, the solution enables synchronized delivery of low-latency streams from two redundant VOS360 platforms. This is a significant advancement for the video industry, enabling latency of less than five seconds without compromising reliability.

Transforming fan engagement with multi-viewing and AI-powered highlight creation
Harmonic has partnered with the industry's leading technology providers Screens y VisualOn to deliver engaging multi-view experiences in your live sports streaming solution. Taking advantage of advanced multi-view capabilities, fans can watch and interact with multiple live matches on the same screen.

Harmonic's live sports streaming solution increases fan engagement by enabling Automatic scene detection and analysis, as well as AI-powered sports clipping for real-time highlight creation.

Piracy reduction

Harmonic is fighting sports piracy by integration of sophisticated anti-piracy features, like forensic watermarks y geoblocking, in your live sports streaming solution. The solution features CDN-level authentication and access control services, as well as dynamic watermarking services provided by leading technology providers, allowing content providers to quickly identify piracy sources and stop content retransmission.

On the other hand, Harmonic's live sports broadcasting solution offers streaming advertising through the server's insertion of new addressable advertising formats, such as double box ads and dynamic L bars.
