Training opportunities at IBC 2025 are expanded with a hackfest that complements the talent program
Presented by Oisin Lunny, galardonado podcaster y maestro de ceremonias de eventos, el programa de talento de IBC 2025 brings together industry leaders and young professionals for a day of debate, career advice, mentoring and inspiration. The sessions, which will take place on the stage of the Talent Program at Future Tech, will cover fields such as hiring, retention and representation, with the participation of SMPTE, RTS, ITN, Christy Media and Global Media and Entertainment Talent Manifesto; a talent showcase, led by Global Media and Entertainment Talent Manifesto; “mentoring in action”, with Rise, #GALSNGEAR, Women in Streaming Media and Women in Immersive Tech Europe; a session on “untapped talent” and an hour of networking con presentaciones rápidas de empresas como BBC, ITN, HBS, RTS, Grass Valley y otras, seguidas de un networking abierto.
In addition, quick presentations will be promoted Ateme, Bitmovin, Formula E, Monks, Norsk, Shure, TechX, Vizrt y Zixi, among many other manufacturers, to address practical technical analyzes carried out in real companies in the sector.
Mark Smith, Founder and Director of IBC Accelerator and Chairman of the IBC Board, believes that "the talent program and hackfest together reflect IBC's commitment to training the next generation of innovators, while offering established professionals a platform to experiment with the technologies that shape our sector. By combining skills development, mentoring and real-time collaboration with world leaders like Google Cloud, we are creating an environment where talent can thrive and innovative ideas can take shape."
