Newcomers Jorge A. Lara and Fernando Pérez share the directing duties of 'Los Justos', a feature film about the figure of the popular jury produced by Nephilim (The Circular Group) and the canary Naif Films.

Set in the tense setting of a popular jury, this feature film delves into the moral dilemmas that arise when greed gets in the way of justice. The narrative tension, combined with a profound ethical approach, seeks to offer a reflection on the limits of human consciousness and the price of integrity. “With a premise that is as provocative as it is current, the film places the viewer before an uncomfortable question: what would you do if they offered you a million euros to look elsewhere?” reads the film's presentation.

The Righteous It is the debut of Jorge A. Lara y Fernando Perez, who, after a successful career as screenwriters, make the leap to directing to explore a universal theme with a fresh and bold look. Lara was nominated for a Goya for his work as a screenwriter for the film Zip and Zap and the Marble Club. Its technical team has top-level professionals, including Alfonso Postigo in photography direction, Elena Lopez as production director, Alexis Santos in art direction and Ana Álvarez Ossorio in the assembly.

The feature film It has a luxury cast headed by Carmen Machi (Celeste), Pilar Castro (Fury), Marcelo Subiotto (The illustrious citizen) y Bruna Cousin (The blue star). The cast is completed with Vito Sanz, Ane Gabarain, Marina Guerola, Hugo Welzel y Aimar Vega. Filming, which started in August, has been carried out entirely in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
