The producers Moire Films y Roll and Roll Filming begins on 'In Vitro', a new fiction series with the participation of 3Cat that, set in a fertility clinic in Barcelona, ​​delves into the complex universe of assisted reproduction.

Starring Bruna Cusí (Verano 1993, Upon Entry) and David Verdaguer (10,000 km, Know That), the series combines drama and comedy to explore the ethical, emotional and social dilemmas that accompany fertility in the 21st century.

The story follows Blanca, a 37-year-old biologist who joins a small clinic in Barcelona as an embryologist. In your day-to-day life, you face complex decisions, diverse patients, and a system that often prioritizes efficiency over empathy. Her partner, Héctor, represents the opposite vision: a brilliant but distant professional, whose rational approach clashes with Blanca's emotional involvement. A tension arises between them that tests their convictions.

Each episode addresses a different case: couples seeking a late pregnancy, single-parent women, LGBTQ+ families, reproductive tourism or genetic selection. But In Vitro also tells the inner journey of Blanca, who by accompanying others begins to question her own decisions and desires.

Created by Alejandra Guimerà and Marc Crehuet, who also directs the series, the script is signed by Marc Crehuet and Carmen Marfà, with the collaboration of Natalia Boadas and Víctor Sala in the development. The photography direction is by Anna Molins and the art direction by Teresa Caballero.

The series, of six 45-minute episodes, is a production of Moiré Films and Rodar y Rodar, in co-production with 3Cat and France, with the participation of HBO Max and the support of ICEC and Eurimage's Co-Pilot Series program.
