Filming begins on 'Two years and one day', new original series from ATRESplayer Premium
Atresmedia TV, Lacoproducer, Estela Films, Pólvora Films y Globomedia produce Two years and one day, series of ATRESPlayer Premium cuyo rodaje acaba de comenzar en Madrid.
Starring by Arturo Valls, Two years and one day es una comedia que narra la caída en desgracia de un famoso actor y presentador que es condenado a cumplir una pena de dos años y un día por un delito de ofensas religiosas por un chiste. Adriana Torrebejano, Amaia Salamanca, Fernando Gil, Michael John Treanor, Javier Botet, Manuel Galiana, Santi Ugalde, Paco Churruca, Nene y Jorge Rueda, entre otros, completan el reparto de la ficción, que tendrá una primera temporada de seis episodios y cuyas grabaciones tendrán lugar en Madrid durante los próximos dos meses.
Two years and one day, produced by Atresmedia Television in collaboration with LACOproductora, Estela Films, Pólvora Films y Globomedia (The Mediapro Studio), is a series created and written by Raúl Navarro, Miguel Esteban, Sergio Sarriá and Luimi Pérez, and will be directed by Raúl Navarro and Ernesto Sevilla. Montse García, Jorge Pezzi, Arturo Valls and Félix Tusell are the executive producers of this fiction from the “Series Atresmedia” label and Lucía Alonso-Allende is the co-executive producer. Two years and one day It will also be available outside of Spain through ATRESplayer Premium International.
Atresmedia has shared the synopsis of the fiction: "Carlos Ferrer is a successful actor, comedian and presenter with a perfect life until 18 fateful seconds change it forever. His appearance at the proclamation of Carzuelo de la Frontera dressed as the Virgin of Cierzo, as an Easter celebration, unleashes the indignation of the association of Costaleras lawyers, who denounce him for a crime against religious feelings. The complaint is admitted for processing and the judge, a devotee of the Virgin of his town and also a coastal man, sentences him to prison. Now, Carlos must adapt to his new life in prison where he will have to spend two years and one day.”
