Filming of 'FoQ begins. The new generation', reboot of 'Physics or Chemistry' for Atresplayer
The legendary Zurbarán school of 'Physics or Chemistry' will reopen its doors with 'FoQ. The new generation', production for Atresplayer Buendía Estudios Canarias in collaboration with Boomerang TV and with the participation of Atresmedia TV.
Atresplayer continues its great commitment to Spanish fiction with FoQ. The new generation, a reboot of the classic Physics or Chemistry that brings “fresh and aspirational air,” he promises “daring plots” and new characters that reflect the reality of young people today. Fiction has started a filming which will run throughout the summer in locations of Canary Islands and the Community of Madrid.
Carlos García Miranda is the creator and screenwriter of the series, who is based on the original format of Carlos Montero. Miranda himself coordinates the script team composed of Alba Carballal, Diego Pinillos, María Miranda and Alba Lucio. Directed by Juanma Pachón and Daniel Romero, the production team is made up of Montse Garcia (fiction director of Atresmedia TV), Sonia Martinez (executive producer of Buendía Estudios Canarias), Carlos García Miranda (executive producer of Buendía Estudios Canarias), So Villalba (CEO of Boomerang TV), Eugenio Perez (production director of Buendía Estudios Canarias) and Diego Polo (production director).
Los actors Rocío Velayos, María Bernardeau, Biel Antón, Kiko Bena, Miguel Fernández, Esther Mejorada, Santiago Garzozi, Julia Camus, Carla Domínguez, Biel Castaño and Rocky will be the protagonists of the return of Physics or Chemistry, accompanied by other young people such as Stephanie Gil, Adriana Hormigos, Enzo Campero, Aarón Ayuso and Ana Andrés. For their part, Israel Elejalde, Itziar Miranda, Silma López, Cuca Escribano, Alex Sie and Anaís Tovar will play the teachers of the Zurbarán school, who will provide different ways of seeing life starring in plots that will inevitably be intertwined with those of their students.
This is the synopsis of FoQ. The new generation: “Adolescence is the time of the first times: the first drunkenness, the first parties petting, the first I love you... And the first duel. The new Zurbarán school year begins marked by the loss of a student, which leads the parents' cooperative that now runs the center to make a decision: create a support group for the students. Thus, eight very different teenagers end up sharing a space in which they will clash completely, but where they will also end up knowing themselves and sharing their desire to live. And to fall in love.”
