Filming of 'Los Protegidos: El Regreso', an original series by Atresplayer Premium, begins

Atresplayer Premium will issue The Protected: The Return, a direct sequel to the successful series that aired on Antenna 3 between 2010 and 2012. Atresmedia Television signs this production in collaboration with Buendía Studios y Boomerang TV.

Filming of the four episodes of this new original series from Atresplayer Premium has already started and will continue over the next few months in natural settings.

The Protected: The Return It will feature the actors who gave life to the characters of the original series. Antonio Garrido (Mario), Ana Fernández (Sandra), Luis Fernández (Culebra), Daniel Avilés (Carlitos) and Mario Marzo (Lucas) will join forces again. In addition, the family is expanded with Maggie García in the role of Lucía. In this new season, a “serious threat” will cause all of them to embark on a new mission.

The series will also feature the return of Gracia Olayo and Óscar Ladoire, who will reprise the roles of Rosa and Antonio. The cast of the fiction is completed with Maripaz Sagayo, Carlotta Cosials, Eduardo Lloveras, Francisco J. Mendo and Cosette Silgueiro.
