Filming of 'Mariliendre', a musical series by Los Javis, begins

Different locations in Madrid host the filming of 'Mariliendre', a musical series created, directed and co-written by Javier Ferreiro produced by Atresmedia TV in collaboration with Take Content (The Javis) for Atresplayer.

Mariliendre will tell the story of Meri Roman, defined as “a queen of Madrid's gay nightlife” for “more than 10 years,” but who at 35 has been “dethroned” and “lives tormented by her past and bored in her mediocre present.” After the death of her father, Meri will reconnect with her entourage of gay friends, “remembering her past and the great musical songs that marked that time, while trying to define her chaotic life and her identity.”

This original musical series from Atresplayer has been created by Javier Ferreiro, who will also serve as director and has written the scripts together with Paloma Rando y Carmen Aumedes. Pablo Lluch and Vic Mirallas They are the musical directors of the production; Belen Marti, the choreographer; Lali Rubio and Andreu Adam, the directors of photography; Marta Loza, the art director; Diana Garcia, the costume designer, and Ana Urosa and Raúl Gallego They are in charge of makeup and hair.

Montse Garcia y Andrea H. Catalá are the executive producers of the series, while Javier Calvo y Javier Ambrossi (The Javis) are the producers of this project produced by Atresmedia TV in collaboration with Suma Content. Filming has already begun, leaving these impressions to Ferreiro, its creator: "Our first day of filming was already a celebration in itself, with Meri Román and her friends giving everything in the middle of a dance floor. We have been working on this project for years and we are very excited to see how the series begins to come to life. Blanca Martínez will be Meri Roman, the protagonist of the story. The actress is accompanied by Martin Urrutia, Omar Ayuso, Carlos González, Yenesi, Álvaro Jurado, Mariona Terés, Mariano Peña and Nina as the main cast of the fiction. The cast of 'Mariliendre' is completed by Pepón Nieto, Jorge Calvo, Piti Alonso, Juanba Cucarella, Jazz Vilá, Lola Rodríguez, Esteban Navarro, Zack Gómez and Jorge Silvestre, among others.
