Markus Zeiler becomes CEO of lighting specialist Creamsource

Creamsource, a company focused on cinematographic lighting known for its Vortex series, has decided to appoint Markus Zeiler (formerly ARRI) as its new CEO with the aim of “laying the foundations for its next phase of growth.”

Since 2005, Creamsource has been led by its founders, Tama Berkeljon y Sasha Marks, whose practical engineering, product philosophy and deep curiosity continue to define the company's DNA. Its long-term vision focuses on innovation, new product lines and responding to community demands. With the incorporation of Sailor to operational leadership, Tama and Sasha gain more space to dedicate themselves completely to the development of new technologies and tools.

ARRI's former CEO joins the company in a “crucial moment”, in which this expand into new markets, intensifies its R&D efforts and develops new tools adapted to the needs of filmmakers, partners and production teams. Zeiler has supervised product and operations teams, has led major global initiatives and helped drive global adoption of LED lighting in film and television.

Tama Berkeljon, executive director of Creamsource, notes that Zeiler's “deep knowledge and experience” will help strengthen the organization, while Sasha Marks, from now on technical director, emphasizes that the appointment will allow him to “further delve into R&D and innovation of new products together with Tama.”
