Terror and western come together in 'Mi zona', the next feature film from ISII Group
Cristian Beteta ('Ayúdame', 'Ángulo dead') directs 'Mi zona', a film that reinforces the commitment of Six Group by the authorial talent whose production will begin in 2026.
Co-written by Beteta and Lara Stoop (Silence Club, Hype), my zone is based on the homonymous short film, which had more than 80 international teams, won more than 40 awards and was present in the preselection for the 2025 Goya Awards. The feature film, which is part of the cross between the horror and the western imagery, explores everyday fear and the complexities of family ties through a story full of tension and suspense, raising a reflection on how fear and family can condition our decisions.
To Cristian Beteta, my zone It marks his leap from short film to feature film and the consolidation of his voice within Spanish genre cinema. Director and screenwriter specialized in horror and suspense, Beteta has achieved recognition with his short film dead angle, starring Goya winners Carlos Santos and Eva Llorach, who received the Award for Best Short Film at the Forqué 2025 Awards, as well as the awards for Best Director and Best Actress at the Fugaz Awards, the main references for Spanish short films. “For me it is a unique opportunity. It makes me very happy to have found a production company that believes in this project and wants to bet on it. The short film was just a sample of the potential that this narrative world had, and I am eager to expand it and tell the story of Eva and Paula,” he commented.
The project reinforces the film production line of Six Group, which continues to promote works with a strong creative identity and international projection, consolidating its commitment to the author and genre cinema. The production, whose filming is scheduled for 2026, joins the catalog of feature films of Six Group, which next year will release titles like Auri, starring Cristina Marcos and Karra Elejalde; Maybe, with Adriana Ugarte and Tania Santana; August days, with Roberto Álamo, Maggie Civantos, Pau Simon and Berta Galo, and Trinidad, with Paz Vega, Gabriela Andraday Karla Sofía Gascón.

Cristian Beteta comes to the feature film with a proven pulse, and We are going to follow this story from the development with industrial vision and international projection,” he explains.
