RTVE launches 'Around the world in 80 likes', a travel format with “viral” destinations
The journalist Eva Rojas and the content creator Carlo Cuñado take charge of 'Around the world in 80 likes', a production of RTVE y The Roar which proposes a “tour through the most viral corners of the world” to the viewers of La 2 and RTVE Play.
In this first season of Around the world in 80 likes, Rojas and Cuñado They will tour different cities around the world to show viewers the “most viral” corners while sharing their selfies on networks with the hashtag #LVM80Likes. This RTVE production in collaboration with The Roar Productions combines a very tone casual, a modern aesthetic and a language very close to social networks to create a travel program around the world in search of the most authentic experiences, contact with local culture and the most viral sites of each new destination.
The destinations of this first season are the colorful Medellín (Colombia), the lush regions of San José and Uvita (Costa Rica), the grandeur of the skyscrapers in New York (USA), the exoticism of Tunisia or the Latin influence of Miami (USA.). Within Europe, the chosen destinations are eclectic Amsterdam (Netherlands), the chaos of Lisboa (Portugal), the sobriety of Prague (Czech Republic), the bustling Naples (Italy), the elegance of Budapest (Hungary), the green Ljubljana (Slovenia) and the Mediterranean Valletta (Malta).
Medellín It is the first destination of Around the world in 80 likes. The program begins with a panoramic paragliding view before visiting the colorful Comuna 13 and the Guatapé rock. The route continues with a day of adventure at the Mirador del Cable and a llama farm.
Eva and Carlo will also have time to visit the city's retail market, a Silletera farm deeply rooted in local culture, Plaza Botero full of art, the lush botanical garden or one of its famous coffee plantations.
