Buendía Estudios Canarias films ‘Trazos Ocultos’, the new series for Antena 3 prime time
The prime time of Antenna 3 will host the premiere of 'Hidden Traces', a six-episode, 50-minute thriller that has already begun filming on the island of Tenerife with the impetus of Buendía Estudios Canarias.
Starring by Toni Acosta and Rodolfo Sancho, hidden strokes proposes a contemporary, close and deeply disturbing story. The series continues Antena 3's commitment to the genre that began with the successful Lies y Angela, consolidating a narrative universe focused on female protagonists who “evolve from vulnerability to empowerment.”
The production of Buendía Estudios Canarias, created by Sara Cano, Paula Fabra and Leire Albinarrate, moves away from the portrait of physical or psychological abuse to focus on the figure of the faker: a man with an impeccable facade, magnetic and seductive, capable of lying and manipulating to sustain an aspirational life built on appearances. In this way, a topical topic in the era of social networks is also addressed: the importance of appearances and the need to simulate a perfect life, as well as the emotional consequences that this generates in the intimate and family sphere.
hidden strokes, is set entirely on the island of Tenerife, showing its contrasts and locations little traveled in national fiction. This original production by Buendía Estudios Canarias with the participation of Atresmedia is directed by Javier Pulido, con Sara Cano, Paula Fabra and Leire Albinarrate in front of the script. Montse Garcia is the fiction director of Atresmedia and Laura Abril and Borja Echevarría are the executive producers. Lucía Alonso-Allende serves as co-executive producer.
The technical team is made up of Pablo Perez as Production Director, Alfonso Segura as director of photography, Itziar Sagasti as art director and Migue Herrera 'Alpert' as head of Sound. Alba Cuesta Obregón signs the costume design and Haridian Nóbrega and Elías Díaz Martín direct the Makeup and Hairstyling teams, respectively.
This is the synopsis of hidden strokes: "Inés is a restaurateur who lives in Santa Cruz de Tenerife with Miguel, her husband, a charismatic pilot with whom she has a teenage daughter. Everything in her life seems perfect until one day, for work reasons, she travels to the other side of the island and sees her husband in a party area frequented by tourists. But what is she doing there? Wasn't she traveling? That same night, Miguel assures her by phone that he is in Tunisia and, the next day, he returns with photos of the supposed trip."
"Shocked, Inés will try to find out what is behind that lie. One of the many that she will uncover. Who really is her husband? Who has she been married to for fifteen years? Inés will have to discover it before Miguel becomes a danger to her and her daughter."
