Programs from To Punt

In 2025, Valencian public television At Punt has increased the production of news and new programs by 22%, and has done so with companies from the Valencian Community 100%, with the exception of an audiovisual production carried out with FORTA regional television networks, which will be broadcast soon.

This increase in production and the total amount awarded to Valencian companies reinforces the role of the public channel as the driving force of the audiovisual sector in the Community. It should be noted that programs like You are celebrating, Valencians in the world or the evening magazine were previously produced by two production companies, one from the Valencian Community and another from the rest of Spain. Now, the management of À Punt has given priority to only companies in the Community producing these programs.

In this sense, this associated production has increased by 22% with respect to 2024, that is, the one that À Punt carries out with other companies in the Valencian audiovisual sector, which covers entertainment programs, various broadcasts such as the Fallas, the Magdalena or the Fogueres, and the rest of the audiovisual content that À Punt commissions from production companies. In total, this represents 2,057 hours, compared to 1,934 hours in 2024.

The iThe increase in own production has also been 22%, covering all the time dedicated to news, current affairs specials and weather, but during 2025 programs such as The true way, the morning magazine CV connection and the sports program The Band. In total, this amounted to 1,813 hours of broadcasting, 22% more than in 2024, and represents around 32% of the channel's broadcast time.

The use of the À Punt's own studies It has meant savings in the rental of external sets, money that has been invested in more productions. And greater investment in new programs has meant an annual decrease of 15% in the time dedicated to repetitions, that is, to the retransmission of programs already broadcast (7% in 2025 compared to 22% in 2024).

Furthermore, the management of À Punt continues to make its public media accessible to the entire population. In this sense, À Punt has achieved the objectives set in terms of weekly hours of subtitling, audio description and sign language.
In fact, the law establishes a legal minimum of 100 hours of subtitles, 15 hours of audio description and 15 hours of sign language per week, and À Punt has offered 130 hours of subtitles, 24 hours of audio description and 22 hours of sign language.
