Massimo Musolino (Mediaset Spain) announces his retirement

About to turn 67, Massimo Musolino puts an end to a professional career closely linked to Mediaset Spain, a group to which he joined for the first time in 1994 and to which he has been linked continuously for 24 years as CEO of Management and Operations.

The manager, who will formally announce his decision at the company's next board of directors, leaves behind a path marked by its “efficient” management of resources and the important transformations that Mediaset España has experienced in recent years: from the reconversion of Gestevisión Telecinco into Mediaset España to the recent integration of the group into MFE-MediaForEurope.

Graduated in Economics and Banking Sciences from the University of Siena and MBA from the Business School of the University of Turin, he began his professional career at the Sirio Group company in Milan, before joining the Planning and Control Department of Fininvest. In March 1994 he moved to Spain as head of the Gestevisión Telecinco Management Control Department, and two years later he was appointed Director of Operations and Control, a position he held until becoming Deputy Director General of Management of Telecinco in 1998. After a brief return to Italy at RTI, the company that manages the Mediaset Group's television channels, he returned to Gestevisión Telecinco in 2002, where he has since led the management and operations of the Mediaset España group until the end of his work period.
