Alessandro Salem will replace Paolo Vasile as CEO of Mediaset Spain
Given the decision of Paolo Vasile to resign from his position as CEO of Mediaset Spain On December 31, the company's Board of Directors in its last meeting has unanimously decided to appoint Alessandro Salem as top executive officer.
Salem has extensive experience in the audiovisual sector, currently being General Director of Content at Rete Televisive Italiane (RTI). Previously he had worked at Publitalia and later for Publiespaña, of which he was general director and CEO.
On the other hand, Massimo Musolino He will continue to lead the Management and Operations areas, thus ensuring full continuity in the management of the company and its group of companies.
The Board of Directors has also decided that the president of Mediaset España, Borja Prado, assume executive powers in matters of External and Institutional Relations, Legal and Regulatory Affairs, Internal Audit, Regulatory Compliance and Social Responsibility, which fall to the corporate general director, Mario Rodriguez, who will report directly to Prado and will be appointed as deputy to the president. In addition, Borja Prado will assume the tasks of supporting and collaborating with the editorial line of the news programs.
The new management team is completed with Stefano Sala as the new CEO of Publiespaña.
