BeckFlow: a platform to automatically generate broadcast installation plans
Defined as the “first” web-based schematic documentation platform designed and developed specifically for the media and entertainment technology industry, integrator BeckFlow BeckTV Automatically generates broadcast facility plans from structured engineering data, including equipment and wiring lists.
The platform BeckFlow, which will be presented for the first time in NAB 2026, incorporates data templates standardized by BeckTV to then generate clear schematic diagrams and coherent without the need to resort to traditional CAD workflows. Matt Weiss, vice president of business development at BeckTV, is excited about the event that will take place in Las Vegas from April 19 to 22: “We are looking forward to introducing BeckFlow to broadcasters and showing them how they can optimize infrastructure documentation and facilitate access to schematics.”
Over the last year, BeckTV has played an important role in the integration of broadcast solutions and infrastructure en entornos como Huskervision, en la Universidad de Nebraska; WVUE, en Nueva Orleans; IMS Productions e Indy Car; la Universidad Estatal de Carolina del Norte en Raleigh, Carolina del Norte; el estadio M&T Bank, sede de los Baltimore Ravens, y WINK-TV en Fort Myers, Florida. El trabajo de la integradora, que cada vez más volcado en el SMPTE ST 2110, covers almost all types of facilities, with a portfolio that includes television stations and television networks, cable and satellite installations, or mobile units.
