Rakuten TV Enterprise will open in Madrid, Live, a European circuit to analyze the future of the CTV ecosystem
Rakuten TV Enterprise will hold the first edition of Live on March 17 in Madrid, a new series of strategic meetings designed to bring together the main leaders who are driving the evolution of connected television (CTV) and streaming in Europe.
The event will bring together more than 150 managers and senior managers from advertisers, media agencies, platforms, production companies, studios and broadcasters. After its inaugural edition in Madrid, Live will continue this year with new editions in London, Germany and Italy, consolidating a European circuit of strategic dialogue on the development of the CTV ecosystem.
Cedric Dufour, CEO and President of Rakuten TV, will inaugurate Live Madrid and will address the evolution of the European CTV market and the role of technological innovation in the growth of streaming. Miguel López-Valverde, Councilor for Digitalization of the Community of Madrid, will share the regional government's vision on digital transformation. Carla Redondo Galbarriatu, General Director of Digitalization and Audiovisual Communication Services of the Ministry for Digital Transformation and Public Service, will contribute to the transformation of the audiovisual sector from the perspective of the Government of Spain, after the launch of the Spain Audiovisual Hub Plan. Reyes Justribó Ferrer, general director of IAB Spain, will offer the industry's vision on the evolution of digital advertising and the growing relevance of CTV within media planning strategies.
In a context of transformation of the audiovisual market (marked by the consolidation of streaming and the evolution of advertising models), Rakuten TV Enterprise promotes Live as a stable forum for reflection and sectoral connection, with a European vocation and the desire to actively contribute to the evolution of the market. LIVE was created with the objective of facilitating a high-level environment where sector leaders can share vision, anticipate trends and activate collaborations that accelerate innovation and growth of the CTV ecosystem.
Among the confirmed profiles are heads of companies such as Paramount, Google, Youtube, Movistar+, Warner Bros., BBC Studios, Filmax, Atresmedia, Mediaset, DAZN, Lactalis Group, Dentsu, Havas Media Network, OMD, Publicis or WPP Media, among others.
First session of the CTV Advisory Group
Within the framework of LIVE Madrid, the first session of the CTV Advisory Board, an international strategic forum promoted by Rakuten TV Enterprise that brings together top-level representatives of the European ecosystem. The group will meet twice a year to analyze trends, the evolution of the advertising market and challenges and opportunities for growth in the sector, with the aim of generating shared knowledge and contributing to the sustainable development of connected television in Europe.
Its members include Daniel Knapp (IAB Europe), Emmanuel Crego (Groupe Values), Ana Cámara (WPP Media), Zach Belmont (Paramount), Gareth Vaughan Jones (Virgin Media O2), Maribel Vivancos (WPP Media Spain), Will Gough (Dentsu UK), Andrea Conte (Havas Media Network), Johan Holm (WPP Media) and Edouard Lauwick (Rakuten TV Enterprise).
