431 artists from MPC Paris (TransPerfect Media) sign the VFX for 'Night Shift'

The study MPC Paris, part of TransPerfect Media, has led the creation of VFX and image post-production for 'Night Shift', a feature film by Jonny Campbell in which 431 artists and technicians have completed a total of 541 shots within a period of 18 months.

Produced by StudioCanal, Night shift is based on a 2019 novel by David Koepp that follows two employees of a government facility who confront a parasitic fungus released from a former military site. The project has included 541 tomas of visual effects completed during a production period of 18 months, representing one of the largest integrated visual effects projects undertaken by MPC Paris.

A team of 431 artists and technicians He has contributed across all departments, performing work ranging from digital extensions of computer-generated (CG) sets and environments to creature animation and large-scale destruction sequences. In addition to the visual effects, MPC Paris has managed the image post-production, supervising the conformations of the images, he calibrations and the final deliveries for film and home entertainment, including masters in Dolby Vision.
