Netflix - New UI - User Interface - 2026

The mobile interface of Netflix receives an important update that, beyond facilitating navigation and discovery of content with vertical videos, anticipates sections dedicated to two fields that OTT is targeting in its expansion as an entertainment node: podcasts and live events.

The new Netflix user interface has already been released in Australia, Canada, United States, Philippines, India, Malaysia, Pakistan, United Kingdom and South Africa, and will reach the rest of the world in the coming months. His experience aligns with the UI for televisions recently renewed, betting on a smoother navigation and one simplifying access to content.

Among its new features, the new section “Clips”: a selection of vertical videos that replicates the model of applications such as TikTok or Instagram to propose a “personalized summary” that helps “decide what to watch or what to play next.” The selection of content adapts to the preferences of each user.

Likewise, the platform anticipates the inclusion of new sections to pódcast y live programming, anticipating one renewed commitment for these aspects of entertainment.

Elisabeth Stone, chief product and technology director at Netflix, highlights the latest improvements to the platform: "The mobile environment is essential for Netflix subscribers to continue enjoying the entertainment they like most. With the new "Clips" section, vertical videos and improved navigation, we have adapted the design of this new experience to the real use of the mobile: for those little moments between tasks, to discover new titles or to have a quick laugh. Our goal is for the new mobile experience to be as entertaining as our content and to offer a proposal more personalized and immersive, adapted to any moment and mood. And this has only just begun.”
