Luis Velo will give a forum at the MPXA on pay television

The general director of Movistar Tv will analyze the future of pay television in a multichannel, digital and interactive scenario.

Luis Velo, general director of Movistar TV, will be this March 6th of May at the Máster en Produción and Xestión Audiovisual (MPXA), title of the Universidade da Coruña developed by the Santiago Rey Fernández-Latorre Foundation, to teach the forum “Television of the Future”. During the meeting, Velo will analyze the future of pay television in a multichannel, digital and interactive scenario.

The general director of Movistar TV will offer an overview of the current television scenario marked by on-demand television consumption, the business of television platforms in the era of Internet 2.0 and the creation of value-added content for mobile phones and second screens. Likewise, it will explain Telefónica's role as a television operator and content manager.

Industrial Engineer and Executive MBA, Velo was executive president of the Telefe group in Argentina, general director of content and general director of eCommerce of Terra Networks, and CEO of Antena 3 TV. Until his appointment as general director of Movistar TV and global head of video operations for the Telefónica group, he was responsible for video in Spain.
