Si Performer 1, the new compact digital mixer from Soundcraft

Soundcraft's most compact model to date can be mounted in a standard 19-inch rack and has the ability to assign up to 56 input channels to its 14 faders.

Two optional external card slots provide unprecedented flexibility, allowing users to connect stage boxes, while also providing the ability to connect to audio networks such as Dante, BLU Link and Cobranet. In addition, they allow their use with personal monitoring systems, such as the DBx PMC Personal Monitor Controller, through BLU Link.

The Si Performer 1 retains the same mixing potential as the Si Performer 2 and 3 models, except that it has 16 mic preamps and 16 faders. It is a console that brings together a good collection of functionalities such as a four-band parametric equalizer on all input channels and, as usual in Soundcraft digital mixers, BSS graphic equalizers on all output buses. This is in addition to filters, gates, compressors and delays on all inputs and compressors and delays on all outputs, also already a standard. Each channel has a color LCD display on its surface to show information such as the channel name, assignments, graphic equalizer frequencies and DMX data, as well as level measurement. Finally, the integration of a DMX512 port offers lighting control, which is ideal for audio and lighting applications with a single technician at the helm.
