AEQ features a high-capacity digital audio matrix with up to 5120x5120 audio channels and five bidirectional fiber optic ports.

titan2The new BC 2000D Router Titan matrix concentrator from AEQ fully covers the needs of routing and distribution of digital and analog audio in radio and television program production centers and other similar scenarios, adding, distributing and processing thousands of inputs and outputs with TDM technology. The use of fiber optic links to interconnect the different sub-racks makes the AEQ BC 2000D Router a decentralized system, with a sub-rack being able to have more than 150 inputs and outputs and be up to 10 kilometers from other racks in the same system. The TITAN array concentrator allows the system to exceed 5000 inputs and outputs. The audio connection is made through 5 bidirectional ports for 1024 x 1024 channel fiber optics. Control can be done centrally or structured from different workstations with user, administration and supervision applications and from dedicated XY panels. The Titan concentrator is a high-capacity digital audio matrix, 5120 x 5120 audio channels, equipped with five bidirectional fiber optic ports, capable of connecting, in each of them, a stream of 1024 channels, with non-blocking architecture. As in the rest of the BC 2000 D system, the control system is based on a TCP/IP architecture, with the two controllers operating in cluster mode, offering a single virtual IP address to the control interface.

The BC 2000D solution is also an audio and data multiplexer for E1/T1/J1 and Ethernet lines. Through the BC 2215 multiplexer card, it inserts and extracts audio channels in E1/T1/J1 data transmission links, opening its field of use to audio distribution in networks of stations and broadcasting centers without distance limitation. Data channels can also be incorporated with the BC 2216 card.

Fully integrated into the BC 2000 D system, the audio connection is made through five bidirectional fiber optic ports, directly compatible with the BC 2000 D – BC 2213 card. In this way, submatrices of 1024 x 1024 audio channels can be connected to form higher structures, maintaining at all times the non-blocking characteristic, until reaching the maximum capacity of 5120 x 5120. The BC matrix concentrator 2000 D Router Titan is designed to work as an audio switching core in critical systems. Maintenance of the equipment can be carried out in a minimum of time and without having to dismantle it from the rack in which it is housed.
