Sony DWT-P01, a new attachable transmitter

The line of digital wireless microphone systems is expanded with this transmitter that allows existing wire microphones to be converted to wireless and integrated into the DWL-P01 series.

Sony has expanded its line of digital wireless microphone system technology by adding the DWT-P01 digital wireless attachable transmitter. This new equipment allows existing wired microphones to easily integrate with the company's DWL-01 series of wireless digital microphone systems.

This attachable transmitter is ideal for a wide variety of digital journalism, interviews and sound capture applications as it has a robust, compact and lightweight metal body with great durability, providing stable transmission over long distances. Its matrix connector is an XLR (because any standard microphone with this connection can be coupled) and it has a wide RF carrier frequency range with a selectable RF output power of 1, 10 and 50 mW. The mic/line input level can also be selected as well as the attenuator between 0 dB and 48 dB in 3dB steps). The DWT-P01 also has a digital low-cut filter and a small, easy-to-view OLED screen.
