For-a introduce CEQ-1000HS en IBC’09

It is an automatic color equalizer that eliminates the need for manual color correction with automatic calibration and image recognition technology.

Coinciding with IBC'09, For-A will present the CEQ-100HS color equalizer, a solution that aims to eliminate manual correction and applies image recognition technology. The CEQ-100HS recognizes colors from the color chart captured by the camera by calibrating them with a standard internal chart and color bar gainer. This calibration can be stored and recalled at any time, with unlimited undo possibilities to find the most correct configuration.

Since the CEQ-100 HS can be used for color correction of multiple studio cameras or monitors simultaneously, it is possible to have color calibration on both monitors and cameras within the same studio or between multiple studios. This is also useful when trying to calibrate large video wall surfaces with numerous monitors. In addition, color calibrations can be carried out independently from the CEQ-100HS for two video inputs, being used, for example, for the calibration of cameras intended for 3D stereoscopy.

The CEQ-100HS supports multiple HD formats, including 1080/59.94i, 1080/50i, 720/59.94p, and 720/50p, as well as the 525/60 and 625/50 SD formats. It includes HD-SDI and SD-SDI video inputs and outputs, and offers an intuitive user interface. Color correction includes RGB, Y/Pb/Pr) and sepia balancing. The CEQ-100HS will be available at the end of the year.
