Grass Valley presents T2, the next generation of its intelligent disk engraver IDDR
Grass Valley has presented the new Intelligent Disk Recover (IDDR) to the market, the next generation of its IDDR family of SD and HD file recorders.
The new IDDR T2 presented by Grass Valley provides greater efficiency in file recording function without problems in any type of environment without tape either as an independent device or as part of a multi-production collection system.
"The T2 part of the experience of the first generation and adds new features and functionalities that customers have demanded. Now, we have a multi-relations device that offers new possibilities and allows users to improve productivity. This has been the objective of our product engineers from the beginning," said Jeff Rosica, senior vice president of Grass Valley.
The T2 establishes a new superior image quality standard for professional DDR environments. This is possible due to the use of the CODEC HQ that provides up to 1920 x 1080 resolution, 4: 2: 2 color space, and up to 200 Mbps I-Frame. T2 is the ideal option for those customers who require a higher image quality on large format screens.
T2 is a complete and autonomous SD and HD video emission system, and audio, equipped with engraver and two emission channels. Their two output channels support SD or Full HD resolution (1080P24/25/30, 1080i50/60, 720p50/60).
Its seven -inch LCD screen (the largest in the industry by a playback) can show high quality images, also with a set of software applications for the management and selection of multimedia clips, clip and cutting edition, and emission, including the creation of the playlist.
