The operator Manuel Marín will teach a steadycam workshop at EMedialab
From December 17 to 20, EMedialab will teach a steadycam management workshop in Malaga of twenty teaching hours for a maximum of a dozen students.
EMedialab launches the monographic course on steadycam operations, which will take place from December 17 to 20 and will be taught by the professional operator Manuel Marín. This course, in which the Audiovisual Foundation of Andalusia and Fnac collaborate, is eminently practical and seeks to prepare operators skilled in the use of professional camera stabilization equipment to participate in film shootings and audiovisual recordings. It is aimed at students, professionals and all those interested in the knowledge and mastery of the management and operation of the steadycam.
Manuel Marín has extensive experience as a camera and steadycam operator in cinema, high definition, advertising and television in Spain, Italy, Morocco, Colombia, Portugal and France. Among his works you can find films, shorts, spots, music videos, documentaries, corporate videos, series, programs and musical galas for television, both live and recorded. Some notable works from his biofilmography are Arribazagan (feature film, 35mm, Bollyhood), The Traces That Returns the Sea (feature film, HD), The Minutes of Silence (feature film, HD), Olalla (feature film, HD), Trajan, Emperor of Rome (documentary), La Dársena de Poniente (TV series), as well as numerous television programs such as Ratones Coloraos or Senderos de gloria and several video clips.
The duration of this workshop is 20 teaching hours and places will be limited, with the maximum number of students being 12, with a registration cost of 300 euros and which will take place at the EMedialab facilities in Malaga.
