Director David Ulloa will teach a masterclass in Trazos focused on how to apply film techniques to the world of video games.
Next December 20, Strokes will host at its headquarters in Madrid From cinema to video game, a masterclass directed by director David Ulloa where we will examine how to apply film techniques to the world of video games.
The conference, with free admission until capacity is reached, will analyze the different tools of audiovisual language and its various expressive uses to later extrapolate it to new narratives.
Shoulder camera or stable frames? Analytical or synthetic montage? Too much depth of field or telephoto framing? Each of these questions can radically modify the narrative of a video game.
In From cinema to video game The different filmmaking techniques will be explained through examples of film sequences and cinematics.
With more than fifteen years of experience in the audiovisual sector, David Ulloa has developed an extensive career in the fields of television, advertising, documentaries and cinema. He has made television series such as Tell me how it happened, Great reserve, The commissioner, Physics or chemistry o Laura's mysteries. Additionally, in 2008 he directed the feature film Modesty, for which he was nominated for the Goya for best new director.
